About Toiletpaper
Toiletpaper started in 2010 as an image-only magazine created by artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari: no text, just staged photographs that mix advertising glamour, kitsch and dark humour. Over the years those images have moved from the page onto objects, home pieces, clothing and a beauty line, all carrying the magazine's instantly recognisable aesthetic: saturated colours, absurd juxtapositions, a wink at consumer culture.
